ABOUT THE SALON

I’m Lucas, born and raised in Säo Paulo in Brazil, where at an early age, I was always fascinated by hair. Growing up I loved watching my mom style her hair while my grandma taught me my first braid using the fringes of her shawl.

After moving to Los Angeles and working 18 years in the hair industry, I’ve trained with brands including L’oreal and Joico, and worked with lovely clients, from close friends on my dance team to influencers like Tati Westbrooke and Lexy Panterra.

As an artist, hair is a unique piece of art that I am entrusted to interpret based on the aspirations, lifestyles, and personalities of my clients. I’m specialized in color correction and styling, but am always looking for a challenge to bring something new.

I can’ wait to meet you! Listen, we both know seeing a new stylist can be scary and sometimes awkward. But don’t worry, I’m here to give you the best experience possible.

After contacting me through text, Iʼll get back to you within 48 hrs, than I will ask some questions about your hair history, answer any questions that you may have, and guide you through the service package that will best meet your hair goals, than book the big day. When you book a service with me you can expect kindness, cleanliness, and attention to detail. My chair is a safe and respectful space, free of judgment!

The big day!

The day of your appointment, you are going to head to 3201 Wilshire Blvd Santa Monica, CA 90403. You will see a big white building with a garden around it. You should be able to recognize the large sign with our salon name DAIDONE SALON. Come on in, itʼs time to be pampered.

Parking

We have 2-hour metered parking in front and around the corner from the salon, from 8am-6pm Monday-Saturday (Sundays are free, yay!). We have a parking lot open from Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm that charges $8 for the day.

Once you come in, we will sit down and start your hair plan, look at your inspiration pictures, and go over your goals for your hair long term. During the appointment I will recommend my favorite products to take care of your new strands. We will wrap everything up at the end with a styling tutorial for your new ‘do, and do a simple and sweet photoshoot!

Such drastic changes, if not properly done, can leave your hair damaged beyond repair. Thatʼs why I utilize the most recent technology on haircare and the best products available. To deliver the healthiest hair possible, it takes time and lots of TLC, sometimes more than five hours per appointment or multiple appointments – but the results speak for themselves.
